am a printmaker, painter, sculptor and installation artist. My work is concerned with natural, scientific and man-made phenomena especially of an ephemeral nature.

Trained initially as a sculptor I became interested in print as a way of capturing these phenomena through cast paper impressions (used as printing plates), photography and direct images (e.g. rust prints of old tools)). This has led to projects based on graffiti, paper casts and prints of street furniture and sections of pavement. I recently completed an installation based around the five Platonic Solids exploring, in prints and sculpture, Platonic concepts of Heavenly perfection and Earthly decay.

Presently I am working on two projects (a) an installation making prints with mushroom spore and (b) a semi-abstract series of paintings of reflections in water.

I run drawing and printmaking workshops and tutor a life drawing workshop at Kew Studio.
