These abstract paintings are created with mixed media in such a way that they each one is totally unique and Julia could not reproduce any of them This is because her inspiration comes from the calligraphy of the Japanese Zen Buddists and she aims to achieve the free-flowing energy and spontaneity found in their work. She does this by working without a predetermined outcome she lets the painting happen.
JuliaÕs work is becoming increasingly popular with private collectors and she has undertaken various commissions.
