nn Dunbar received her teaching certificate from London University and arts degree at West Surrey, England.

Her work is collected both privately and corporately.

She enjoys experimenting with different mediums onto her water-colours, even mixing glitter paint, interference medium, salt or soap, to create exciting effects, before enhancing the subject with embroidery.

A multitude of threads freely stitched by machine suggest movement, add texture and depth.

She often draws inspiration by the seasonal changes in nature, looking and recording her responses to ancient cultural artefact decoration in museum collections and by expressing in her imaginative mode the fragility of the earth's beauty.

Living near Paris has brought interesting prospects to Ann's career: online representation, publications and awards.
