distinguished artist,designer,photographer and educator for over three decades,he now concentrates on his Fine Art works... and plays Jazz,Blues and Latin Music and travels in his spare time.

He first studied Fine Art full-time at Accrington,Manchester and Bournemouth Colleges of Art. Later,studied Management,Education and Fine Art at the University of Southampton and Manchester Metropolitan University

Gained many academic and professional qualifications-including four Fellowships and a Post Graduate Master of Arts degree.

Experienced lecturer and teacher, Scott is also an engaging and entertaining speaker.

During the 1970-80's he designed and manufactured funiture which was exhibited in London,Manchester and NEC Birmingham...and distributed thoughout the UK and exported to America,France and Scandinavia.

His love of urban and rural landscape has been a constant inspiration. So too has been is his passion for developing figurative images of 'reality'and translating them into positive,energised,emotional,dynamic abstract visions. His early paintings were admired and praised by L.S.Lowry. The first painting he ever sold was purchased by one of the world s greatest patrons of the Arts,Sir John Moores of Liverpool.

Following the year long celebrations across the UK,his painting Trusting Relationships...in Space and Nature was chosen as the outright winner of the Japan 2001 Works of Art Competition.

Scott is currently working on paintings in acrylics,some incorporating dyed organza voile on mahogany panels... together with a range of signed 'special collector edition' prints on canvas... and expects to visit Japan in the near future.
