ll work is produced from an architectural starting point and involves both two and three-dimensional representations of space in variety of media.
Earlier work focussed more on the domestic space of the home and culminated in an installation centred around 88, Magdalen Road and deals separately with the space and sense of place. The installation incorporates photography, architectural models, plan drawings and U.V light.
More recent work has been an attempt to develop paintings into more three-dimensional forms widening the context to cities, space and buildings on a larger scale.
These ideas have culminated in the use of a series of two dimensional planes that slot together creating a form. Each slice can be treated as an individual painting and when combined with the other slices create a form made up of multiple images. The images visible will change or disappear then reappear depending on your viewpoint.
Current work is developing these sculptural images with the combination of reflective materials such as mirror and glass and changes in scale and form.
